Seasons Transitions

Pixels Image

The burnt orange leaves
Tumble down from tree branches
Cracking and breaking
Underfoot as children play
In the frosted daylight breeze

The fog will elope
On winds up high in the sky
rain starts lashes down
Clouds out to play children sit
Inside as the puddles grow

Flowers shoot and bloom
birds and wildlife are singing
Kids play in the maize
Time for games of hide and seek
As the sunshine lights the way

Lotion is applied
As the sun rays now lay bare
Our skin is prickling
gusterly winds start blowing
The leaves burn transient orange

Running late again this week for the prompts – so here is #TankaTuesday on the Wednesday. Another great prompt by Colleen.
