Unchartered

The wind cuddles us
Upon infinite peaks run
Flummoxed at crossroads
Our pain’s visceral nature
Unchartered compounds us so

The calm waters spread
Heavens high always follows
Life’s pains further gains
Decisions which to pursue
Lifes mistakes in the making

Using another fantastic word for the weekend from Sammiscribbles – Today’s word being Flummox 05-02-22

So I published this then remembered the 41 word count. I have amended this whilst sticking to a tanka syllable count of 5,7,5,7,7 – let me know if you can see where the one word limit can be changed as 40/42 at the moment. Solution the title is included 👌. 41/42 for those who wing it.

Again adding in Fandango’s daily words. Which always seem to go so well. This maybe me and seeing a link in anything, but you would usually be at a flummox on a crossroads unless you knew where u wanted to go. This can be literal or metaphorical.
